* Hay varias maneras de escribir la fecha en inglés. Prefiero utilizar esta que veis aquí arriba en la que repasamos cómo se escriben los números ordinales. Es decir, que no decimos en inglés el día "16 de marzo", sino "marzo, el decimo sexto" día. El año en inglés lo decimos así: two thousand and twenty. También se puede leer de esta otra manera: twenty-twenty.

Exercise 1. Read and translate these sentences orally with a loud voice. Repeat the reading twice. Then, you must write them on your notebook (in English and in Spanish).
Ejercicio 1. Lee y traduce oralmente estas oraciones en voz alta. Léelo dos veces más. Luego, debes escribirlas en tu cuaderno (en inglés y en español).
1. For many years, Mongolian people wrote stories about dragon eggs in the Gobi Desert.
2. In 1923, an American explorer called Roy Chapman Andrews travelled there.
3. He wanted to visit this misterious desert.
4. He travelled across the desert with 125 camels.
5. It was very hot and sunny, so they wore hats.
Exercise 2. Write the sentences of the exercise 1 in their negative form. Then, you must read them aloud.
