Exercise 1. Read and translate these
sentences orally with a loud voice. Repeat the reading twice. Then, you must
write them on your notebook (in English and in Spanish).

Lee y traduce oralmente estas oraciones en voz alta. Léelo dos veces más.
Luego, debes escribirlas en tu cuaderno (en inglés y en español).
1. A dangerous sandstorm arrived.
Una peligrosa tormenta llegó.
2. It wasn’t always hot and dry in
the desert.
No siempre
hacía calor y sol en el desierto.
3. One day, it rained a lot!

4. At night-time it was cold.

5. Andrews and his team found
forty-five snakes in their tents.
